We know just how zzzzz it can be constantly finding ways to entertain the kids during the holidays (even the short ones), so we’ve come up with your essential movie viewing guide for the week ahead.

How much do you love us?

Finding Nemo (U)

Just keep swimming, just keep swimming…. Can you believe it’s 10 years since this Pixar classic was first released? No, nor us! To celebrate this tearjerker of a tale about clownfish father and son duo, Marlin and Nemo, who each go on a treacherous journey to be reunited after little Nemo has a  fishy tantrum, it will be available in HD or 3D Blu-ray from Monday.  Watch out for a star turn from Ellen DeGeneres as forgetful fish, Dory. We can’t wait for the next installment, Finding Dory, in 2015.

Epic (U)

EPIC

Aptly named, as this is meant to be THE kids movie of the year. It tells she story of teenager Mary Katherine (MK) who ends up magically shrinked to teeny-tiny size and then gets lost in a forest. There she meets the Leafman (the goodies, yay) but also the Boggans (the baddies, boo) and embarks on a classic battle of good versus evil. Fabulous fave Beyonce, makes an appearance as the forest’s female leader, Queen Tara. You can see Epic at cinemas nationwide now.

Oz: The Great and Powerful (PG)

This film is all about what happened in Oz before Dorothy et al came along and caused their chaos – kids can enjoy the amazing special effects while mums can secretly (or quite openly) swoon over the gorgeous James Franco who plays Oz!

This prequel will be screened every day at Cineworld throughout half term using the Movies for Juniors offer which means tickets start from just £1 each if booked online!

Wreck-It Ralph (PG)

WRECK-IT RALPH

Set in the animated world of video games, the hero of this film is a ham-fisted destroyer called Wreck-It Ralph, voiced by John C Reilly. Fed up with his destructive nature he runs away, unaware it could ruin the future of his game and pals. On his journey he meets adorable misfit Vanellope von Schweetz (perfectly voiced by comedienne Sarah Silverman) and the two manage to find their place in the video game world after all. Yay! It’s out on DVD June 3  – which is technically a little late for half term, but we just HAD to include it!
